The "her" series includes mixed-media paintings that revolve around the theme of women and their experiences and emotions. As a female artist who has experienced many struggles in my own life I wanted to express those emotions visually. These paintings speak to the strength of women as they encounter various challenges in their lives.

From "Her Regret" which asks the question "What emotions might Eve have had after her fall in the Garden of Eden?"  to "Her Blessing" which speaks to the heart of any woman who became a mom, whether by adoption, birth or foster, these paintings touch the very soul of what it means to be a woman.
